Volunteer Week – Kim Underhay

My name is Kim Underhay and over 15 years ago, I was referred to Empower from a Stella Burry program.

I have been volunteering since then, with the Garden Committee, as a former Board member and on other committees.

Volunteering makes me feel that I am making a difference and gives me a sense of belonging.

In my free time I enjoy painting and artwork, going to bingo and spending time with my friends. Advocacy is very important to me and making sure everyone is treated fairly.
