Volunteer Week – Stephen Westcott

I’m Stephen Westcott and I became involved with Empower when I heard the many different things that were going on from Amanda the Members Services coordinator.

I have volunteered for many years with many different things, including the paint group, CAP room, Garden Committee and times when others needed help.

I volunteer because I like helping people, it makes me feel good.

In my free time I play boccia as a member of the NL Boccia Team, including going away for tournaments. I am in a dart league at The Hub, I go to dances, play games and chat with friends online.
