Our Mission is to raise funds to enhance treatment and supportive care programs for cancer patients, fund local cancer research initiatives and provide continuing education opportunities for staff of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre and affiliated cancer programs in Newfoundland and Labrador. Programs offered include the Patient and Family Support Fund where patients receive financial assistance with unexpected costs that arise during their treatment such as: costs associated with travelling to receive their treatment; and medical supplies (such as prostheses, lymphedema sleeves, wigs and mastectomy supplies) and the Kids with Cancer Travel Fund which has provided short term financial assistance for accommodations, travel and meals to children with cancer and their families.
