Emergency Shelter Beds: We provide emergency beds to women and children who need a safe place to go upon leaving their abusive homes. O’Shaughnessy House has 15 beds.
Second Stage Housing: Iris Kirby House owns and operates 13 second stage housing units in the St. John’s, Mount Pearl, and Carbonear areas. This service is provided as a landlord and tenant arrangement, where women live independently from the shelter setting, and are responsible for paying their own rent and any costs associated with independent living.
