SPM Ferries provides ferry transportation between the French islands of St. Pierre-Miquelon and Fortune, Newfoundland, Canada. There is no dock at Langlade, so passengers need to disembark from the Jeune France onto a zodiac boat to be brought to land. This means that it is more difficult for persons with reduced mobility to travel comfortably and safely.
